REALLY?!?!?! 7 MONTHS OLD?!?!?!

Lately I have been getting that remark (look at blog title if your not sure). People think he is more than 7 months old because they say he is big. To me tho, I think he is not that big... BUT probably because I am comparing him to Jakob, who was a CHUNKER! But I guess Seth is a little chunker too, just not to the extent Jakey was! lol!

So much has happened this month with Seth! He now can get from sitting position to his tummy. The weirdest way ever, but he gets there. He can now for sure say "mama", "dada" and "buba". It actually sounds more like "MAMAMAMAMAMAMA" or "DA or DADADADA" and "BUBBUBUBUBUBUBA". He usually says "mama" while whining, "DADA and Buba" while he is happy. I asked him to please say my name while he is happy if at all possible..lol!

His top two teeth are coming, well actually one has broken thru already and the other one is about to. He has been introduced to the world of juice! Doesn't really LOVE it but on occasion will drink it. Oh yes and he also can now hold his own bottle!

On 4th of July we headed to Oxnard and it was Seth's first time at the beach and staying at a hotel! He wasn't to fond of the sand or cold water but he loved playing with his toys on the blanket under the umbrella. We also gave him his first hair cut! Brett got out his clippers and we buzzed away his baby hair! Well the ends of it. His hair has been thinning all around his head except for the top. It was thick and full and he was beginning to get the nickname "Donald Trump" because we would have to comb it to the side. So after the nickname surfaced, no way was I going to allow him to look like Donald, so we buzzed away that comb over! He looks so grown up now, but I LOVE IT!

The most recent and bittersweet thing Seth has begun is crawling. Well the very very beginning stages of it. He pushing off with his feet and pulling with his hands to get him around. A few times he was on his knees rocking. YIKES! Time for baby gates!

This week we head to Utah's Zion National Park for camping! Brett and Seth's first time in Zion and Seth's first camping trip. I am a little nervous about camping with a baby (we are in tents) but I am so excited to introduce him to camping and I hope we will make this our annual summer tradition!

Sorry I am late in blogging. Our baby turned 6 months old on June 1oth! It truly is amazing how much he is growing each day! He has definitely started to put noises together that are sounding more like "mama" and "dada". He loves to clap and say in his own way "yay". He has also started to roll over more and can successfully sit up on his own! He still has only his bottom 2 teeth, but has been chewing more and more on toys and his fingers so we think soon more teeth will be making their debut!

A few first would be laying under the stars. Even seeing a shooting star (well mama did so we'll just say Seth did too..lol). First father's day, baseball game (papa's), his first pet Dodger, first bath in the sink which was short lived due to the fact HE LOVES TO SPLASH and made a huge mesh, and his first pool party! Seth loves the water, well as long as it not cold. He is also eating all fruits, veggies and we have added baby oatmeal.

We thank the Lord everyday for this precious bundle of love his has blessed us with! He brings so much joy to our family and all those who come in contact with him! He usually is all smiles and he always has plenty to say..even if it is baby jumble!

5 months old...OH MY!

Yesterday was my 1st Mother's Day and my little man turned 5 months old! I had an amazing Mother's Day too! The best gift of all was waking up and being able to cuddle and hold my little guy! Motherhood is the best job ever! Yes it is hard and tiring, but the moment he looks up at me none of that matters! I am sooo blessed! With a perfect little guy and a WONDERFUL husband! and of course with LOVING families!

11 days old!

5 Months old!

Seth is getting soooo big! He went and had his 4 month shots and doctor visit on the 4th of May(we are a little late due to insurance issues), but he weighed in at 17lbs 7oz and was 25 3/4in long! He was in the 90th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height, his head circumference was in the 75-90th percentile also.

A couple days before his 5th month birth anniversary (lol!) his first tooth broke thru on the bottom. Then the next day a surprise tooth popped up right next to it. It was a surprise because we have seen and felt the other one coming for at least a month but not this one, it showed up unannounced...lol!




OH yes and he has successfully started eating his rice cereal twice a day. We started when right before he turned 4 months old but he HATED it. So we gave it a break for a week and a half and then I tried again. I made it really thin like breast milk and he ate it (he made a funny face after every bite but kept on eating) then I started to thicken it it up and he gets all excited now when he sees the bowl and spoon! In a couple of weeks we will be introducing the "orange" veggies!

Seth has experienced a lot of "firsts" in his 4th month of life. His first Easter, first Disneyland trip, found his feet, started eating cereal, his and my first Mother's day, and his first 2 teeth! Seth is pretty close to rolling over too. My Love is growing WAY to fast for me! But I LOVE watching him grow. So contradicting huh! I'll end with some more pictures of our "bubba boogie"!

4 MONTHS old!!!

Mr. Seth turned 4 months old on the 10th. Man I can't believe it. He is beginning to hit so many milestones. He has found his feet, he has a few teeth starting to push their way out, he is starting to make sounds that sound more like...dadadada, and sooo much more! He loves to smile and laugh, and is beginning to become a pro at faking his cry and the best one...He SLEEPS thru the night!!!! Praise the Lord!!!!!!

We are excited that the weather is warming up, so now we can be outside more and he can begin to explore nature(with his eyes, nose and maybe sometimes touch..lol! ;o))
