Week 18!!

2 more weeks and we'll be half way there! I can't believe how fast it is going! July 22nd is the big day that we find out (pending baby's cooperation) the gender! I am soooo anxious and soooo ready to find out! EVERYBODY asks me everyday if I know I and I want to be able to say YES instead of no.

Exciting news! We finally are moving into the house we have waited NINE months for! We are sooo excited to have the space of a house! I was beginning to feel soooo cramped in the bedroom we've been staying at. Thank you soooo very much to my in-laws for letting us crash their guest bedroom for the last nine months! It was a HUGE blessing!!!

So I am even more anxious now to know the gender of our baby so we can start looking and deciding on decorating ideas. Our good friend is going to paint a mural of our choice once we decided what we want.

How have I been feeling? Well definitely feel more energetic!! Still tired after work, but that probably is normal since I don't really get to take a short nap during the day. I have not "officially" felt the baby move so I think. I have felt little spasm type thingies but not tooo sure if it is the baby or my stomach muscle spasming out from the stretching. Which also brings me to ...I AM GETTING HUGE! My bosses wife keeps asking me if I am having twins. She says I don't look like I gained lots, that my face and other body parts look the same, but just my belly is sticking out (of course you say, you are pregnant, but I think she means more than expected). I don't know what to make of that. I know she means good and is not trying to offend me and I am not, I just don't know. Last time I heard there was only one! LOL! But maybe we are in for a HUGE surprise or maybe I am just going to be HUGE! Either way I don't like the HUGE factor! I didn't quite start off this pregnancy at my "ideal" weight so that could be the BIG factor that makes me look HUGE!

Life is good, we are blessed and very grateful to God for his perfect timing with our home and CAN'T WAIT to find out what the next Humphreys child will be.... a BOY OR GIRL! What do you think??

Tristan has finally warmed up to Jakob and to the fact that he is his little brother. Yesterday, while visiting and helping my sister, Tristan wanted to help feed him. We were SOOO excited, here are some pictures of the BIG event...lol

Introducing.....JAKOB RICHARD

Yahoo!! He is here! Jakob made his be debut yesterday June 12th. Third times the charm for my sister. After 2 visits (different days) to Labor and Delivery with contractions and then getting sent home, she was finally admitted the third time and they brought Jakob into the world!

He weighed in at 6lbs 13oz, measuring 19in.

So far he is a cry free baby. See the video below. He got a shot in his foot and was having blood taken and not a peep from him.

Meet "Saucey Rudolph". Tristan's new puppy. He got him a week ago. Mommy and Daddy get a new baby and Tristan gets a new puppy! Funny thing is Grandma and Poppa got a new granddog too. They are currently babysitting while Mommy and Daddy are in the hospital with Jakob. Saucey is a cutie. He had to warm up the Grandma and Poppa. But looks like they are all acquainted now.

Week 14!

So today I am 14wks 2 days. Time is sure flying by. We went to the doctor on Monday and heard the heartbeat! We cheated tho and have heard it already. We bought a Doppler off EBay back in the beginning of May. It never ceases to be amazing tho! I just can't wait to see the baby again and how much it has grown!



So we have SIX more weeks until we can find out if it is a girl or boy, or in the words of my boss has a spicket or no spicket. I don't know if I can wait that long!!! I really wish I knew someone with an ultrasound machine!



I have been feeling better in regards to nauseousness. It pretty much has subsided. I am however still TIRED! Everyday I HAVE to go home from work and take a nap. Hopefully soon my energy levels will rise again :):)



On our "rental" situation. Looks like FINALLY we'll be moving. We have a walk thru scheduled next Wednesday and if all goes well we should be able to start moving around the 15th of June. I am excited to SPREAD out and have space again...lol! Not so excited about the moving part. Good thing I can use the "pregnancy card" and not have to carry any boxes! I'll just unpack them.



Lastly our little nephew who is still kickin it in the womb almost made his appearance yesterday. I was SOOOO excited but then our hopes were dashed when the hospital wanted my sister to dilate ONE more centimeter. Why? I wanted to scream at them, she is having a c-section and 1-2 centimeters should be enough for you to admit her and bring that baby into the WORLD! My sister is determined now to get him out! So I hope to have a new nephew by the end of this week early next :o)

Goofy's Kitchen/Downtown Disney/Build-A-Bear

So this past Saturday, we headed down to Downtown Disney with my family to celebrate my sister(Corryne) and nephew's(Tristan) birthday at Goofy's Kitchen. It has been a tradition ever since Tristan was born to go to Goofy's Kitchen for his birthday and since Corryne and Tristan have the same birthday it turned into a double celebration. We usually go for Brunch, but my dad wanted to try their dinner so the earliest we could get a reservation was May 17th. A month and 2 days after their birthday but Tristan didn't mind celebrating his birthday again! Tristan's stepsister got to join us to, and we had a blast. Here is some pictures...

Before dinner we had an hour so we walked a little part of Downtown Disney, but then my dad spotted those people who draw your face and they decided to get Tristan and Taylor(sister) profiles done. That took up the remaining time before dinner and then after dinner we headed back out to Downtown and went to Build-A-Bear. My sister promised the kids they could go. While there Brett and I decided to build a bear for Baby Bean! Check out the videos and a picture of Baby Bean's Bear.

Life and Pregnancy...

Well, I am 10wks 2days and the bloating has disappeared and nauseousness has calmed way down. Still comes around here and there, but not like before! Thank the lord. The last couple of weeks I have not felt as tired during the day, but that has changed. It is back again! :o( So during the day I just want to SLEEP, but I can't cause I gotta work...oh well.

New thing that has been happening is that I get this stale feeling with a NASTY taste in my mouth whenever I eat. Drinking water doesn't help it go away. So I have found some kind of relief, GUM! Orbit has this new flavor "Maui Melon Mint" and I really like it and it helps hide that horrible thing going on in the mouth.

Ahhh the joys of pregnancy! I thank God everyday for them cause there are many women out there who greatest desire is to be pregnant but the Lord hasn't allowed it yet. I am very honored and blessed that He has given me the privilege. So I try not to complain too much...lol :):)

Life has been good for us. We are going thru a trial of patience still with waiting for the rental home. It gets really hard to be patient, but I know that we will be soo blessed if we are. Brett got a email from Edison a couple weeks ago, after many submissions (a year total) to them for a job they answered (THANK YOU LORD!) and he got to take their test today. I guess that is the first step in the process of a possibility for a job at Edison. He felt really good about the test and so we shall see the results of the test in about 3 - 5 days. We are thanking the Lord and trusting Him because He is our Provider! Our Jehovah - Jirah!!
