2 months old...

I can't believe how fast this past 2 months has gone! It is bittersweet! Bitter=he is getting so big, not a little newborn anymore, Sweet= his milestones! Smiles, talking, etc....

The past 2 months has been a rollercoaster. Mostly for me and recovery. It took me about 3 weeks to recover from having him. (ie. stiches and so forth has to heal) Plus I developed some other problems during the first three weeks...I would share what it is but it is TMI for all my viewers..lol. BUT then week 4 I got Mastitsis! That is soooo horrible. So it took me a week or so to heal from it, then BOOM I get a cold. Another week to heal. Then double BOOM, Mastitsis is back! On the other side!. Man can a woman get a break! She has a baby to care for! lol! So needless to say my body is not cooperating in the healthy department.

Seth on the other hand has been improving very much. At first he was a screamer. I think it is due to the fact we were underfeeding him, but with an increase in food, he has improved much. He still screams but mostly it is if we waited to long to feed him or he is extremely tired. He is smiling soooo much now and talking up a storm. We have a little IHOME 2Go (like a mini boom box that you put your ipod in) and we play music for him at night. So last night at the 1am feeding, I fed and I rocked him to sleep and as soon as I put him down he woke up. I put the music on and was singing along. He decided sleep can wait, and sang along baby style! It made my heart melt! Being a mom is really amazing! Everytime I look at him and I am sooo grateful that I have a healthy, happy baby!

Brett has been an amazing dad! He doesn't hesitate to change his diapers, which I am extremely grateful for! Luckily tho breastfed babies diapers are not as bad as formula fed ones. Brett LOVES being a daddy and Seth LOVES his daddy! We are truly a blessed family!
